Who we are, and what we do
Harwell Gardeners’ Club meets on the first Monday of every month. In June, July and August we go out to visit local gardens and from September through till May we meet in St Matthew’s Church at 7.30 p.m. to hear a garden related talk and chat over refreshments. The annual subscription is £12 with a small additional costs for the garden visits if partaken of.
We have a Facebook page – Harwell Gardeners’ Club where we are happy to give out advice on garden matters.
We have a stall selling plants raised by members every year at Harwell Feast.
We have, pre Covid, organised Harwell Open Gardens and Summer Fetes on the Rectory Lawn. We hope to return to these activities in due course.
We also run an annual Village Produce Show in September which is held in Harwell School. This is open to anyone to enter. Schedules are available from June from Bob’s Butchers.
Anyone wishing to come along to one of our meetings in church to see if it is something they would enjoy is warmly welcomed free of charge.
